Optix Network from Blueridge Technologies is a Cross-Platform DocumentImaging and Document Management system. It allows companies to scan,archive and retrieve literally millions of documents quickly and easily.Stored documents can include scanned images of everything from microfilmto blueprints, and computer files of every description. Optix Networkfeatures Macintosh and/or Windows workstations linked to a Unix operatingsystem running an SQL database. It's the first Document ManagementSystem to link the power of UNIX with the ease of a Macintosh interface.Plug-ins to Optix include Workflow, which allows Cross-Platform routingof documents, and Natural Language Text Search, which allows users tosearch for documents using plain English. Optix is also available as asingle-user product.
